ABSTRACT

Objective:To realize the interactive form evaluation of radiotherapy dose and the automatic calculation of conformity index (CI) and heterogeneity index (HI) in the Eclipse planning system.Methods:The Eclipse Scripting API application development interface and C# programming language were employed to develop it with script plug-ins combined with independent programs. The visual interface programming and call the relevant dose query function in the API were utilized to realize the interactive table dose evaluation and the automatic calculation of HI. The functions of calling dosage structure creation and structure Boolean operation in the API were adopted to realize the automatic calculation of CI.Results:15 clinical radiotherapy cases of nasopharyngeal carcinoma were selected. The dose evaluation results were statistically compared between this method and the module equipped in the Eclipse system. The results showed that the accuracy was consistent between these two methods ( P>0.05), whereas the evaluation efficiency of this method was significantly higher compared with that of the Eclipse system module ( P<0.05). Conclusions:The interactive evaluation form in this article has a friendly interface, which allows users to more conveniently perform dose assessment, multi-plan comparison, and calculation of CI and HI, which effectively improves work efficiency and can better serve the clinical and scientific research work of radiotherapy.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develope a realtime system for ECG signals acquisition,amplification and network transmission.Methods The raw noisy ECG signals underwent gain amplification,denoising and filtering by a system developed by virtual instrument and LabVIEW,and network component programming was carried out based on TCP/IP.Then the processed ECG signals were transmitted to remote terminals with dual communication model.Results The system behaved well in easy operation,high reliability and man-machine interface,and could be used to realize remote realtime transmission and browsing of ECG signals between the hospital and medical communities.Conclusion The system may be a choice for ECG signals remote acquisition and transmission,and provides references for the development of telemedicine software.

ABSTRACT

Objective To design a critical value SMS reporting system which covers the existing hospital inspection and laboratory system,and to supplement the existing critical value reporting methods.Methods The system was designed with Delphi programming language and SQL Server database.The critical value data view with unified format was established in the databases of all the systems,the import program stored the data in the database of the SMS reporting system in time,and the SMS sending program controlled the SMS transceiver by calling DLL function to transmit SMS after detecting un-sent critical value message periodically.Results The system realized SMS reporting of the critical values to the medical staffs,and decreased their workload.Conclusion The system enhances the efficiency and quality of the medical technician while providing data reference for critical value management,and thus is worthy promoting practically.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the effect of age on the fracture healing through bioinformatical analysis of gene ex?pression data in GEO, and to screen critical molecular targets and pathways involved in this process. Methods Through R programming language, we identified different expressed genes between 26/52 week old rats and 6 week old rats in every time points of the experiment (No fracture;3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks after fracture). By comparison of these different expressed genes, those genes that may contribute to fracture healing were identified. Function annotation was conducted based on DAVID database and PPI network that was constructed via STRING database. Results Compared with 6 week old rat, 52 week old rat show more different genes at 2, 4 and 6 weeks after fracture as well as more than intact rats. At the time point of 6 weeks after fracture, 26 week old rat present 4 different genes while 52 week old rat present 99 differ?ent genes compared with 6 week old rat. We totally found 99 genes that might play important roles in the process of fracture healing. These genes involved in biological process related to bone healing, immune, inflammatory and etc. Also, two screened gene enriched KEGG pathways were identified: ECM-receptor interaction and Arachidonic acid metabolism. Through the analysis of PPI network, Pcna, Fn1, Casp3 and etc, who present high density connectivity in PPI network, were screened out. Conclusion Pcna, Casp3 and Fn1 and etc might play important roles in fracture healing through affecting ECM-receptor interaction and Arachidonic acid metabolism.

ABSTRACT

In the present paper, we review some programming languages and computer software used to investigate basic psychological processes. In the first section, we address the principles and logical structure of the most common programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, Matlab, R, Python), and in the second section we present some of their applications to psychological research. Finally, we discuss the importance of computer programming as a tool in the field of psychology and its relationship with technological innovation.


No presente artigo foram revisadas algumas linguagens de programação esoftwares usados na investigação dos processos psicológicos básicos. Na primeira seção, foram abordados os princípios e a estrutura lógica das linguagens mais comuns de programação (e.g. C, C++, Java, Matlab, R e Python), e na segunda seção foram apresentadas algumas de suas aplicações na pesquisa psicológica. Ao final, são discutidas a importância da programação como uma ferramenta no campo da psicologia e sua relação com a inovação tecnológica.


En el presente artículo revisamos algunos de los lenguajes de programación y programas informáticos utilizados en la investigación de los procesos psicológicos básicos. En la primera sección, abordamos los principios y la estructura lógica de los lenguajes más comunes de programación (e.g., C, C++, Java, Matlab, R, y Python), y en la segunda sección, presentamos algunas de sus aplicaciones en la investigación psicológica. Al final, discutimos la importancia de la programación como una herramienta en el campo de la psicología y su relación con la innovación tecnológica.

ABSTRACT

Objectives: To develop a computational tool for NEURON simulation environment, user friendly, to store the results generated during simulation and to make subsequent analysis with other tools such as Matlab and IgorPRo Materials and Methods: Data Exporter was implemented in the programming language hoc. This algorithm is divided in 13 sections or blocks. The first section is necessary to edit in a new simulation. These new configuration determine the geometry, biophysic properties the neurons to simulate and path to save data. Results: To check the efficiency of the algorithm, we simulated the propagation of action potential in TRN(thalamic reticular nucleus) neuron in different large of simulation. We determine that the time of simulation is linear respect to time of simulation. Conclusions: Data Exporter makes easier to start to neural simulation in NEURON reducing the steps of programming to geometry and biophysical properties of the neuron and to allow save data to next steps of analysis.


Objetivos: Desarrollar una herramienta computacional en ambiente lenguaje de programación hoc de NEURON y de fácil uso, que permita el rápido almacenamiento de los resultados obtenidos para su posterior análisis en otros software tales como Matlab or IgorPro. Materiales y métodos: Para el desarrollo de Data Exporter se escribió un algoritmo en lenguaje de programación hoc de NEURON. El algoritmo, escrito en un único archivo de texto, esta dividido en 13 bloques, de los cuales solo el primero debe ser modificado para adaptarlo a una geometría y biofísica neuronal particular y para determinar la ruta de almacenamiento de los datos. Resultados: Se desarrollo un software que simula la propagación de potenciales de acción a través de geometrías neuronales complejas. El uso de esta herramienta permite el almacenamiento de los resultados obtenidos, como potenciales y corrientes de membrana en diferentes puntos de toda la neurona, sin incremento significativo en el tiempo para el desarrollo de los procesos. Conclusiones: Data Exporter es un software que le da mayor flexibilidad a NEURON facilitando el acceso a nuevos neurocientíficos, los cuales pueden usarlo con solo conocer los códigos necesarios para el desarrollo de los archivos relacionados con las propiedades geométricas y biofísicas neuronales.

ABSTRACT

Objective To develop a new optometer controlled by micro-computer.Methods With AT89C51 single-chip as hardware and programmed by C language,the instrument applied,the optometer adopted LCD and international standard optotype.The optotype had 14 lines of object-finders,and only one line of random characters was displayed on the screen every time.The optometry distance was 3m.All procedures were controlled by singlechip.Results The case of memorizing eye-chart was avoided and the optometry was every simple.Conclusion The instrument eliminates mirror used for optometry short distance,and the optometry results can be stored and printed.It also has the merits of small volume,precise manufacture,simple operation,low cost and AC/DC power supply.
